Santa Cruz, blending wine and money! James smacks the camper van, oops!

The two extremes of Californian winemaking. From Montery to Santa Cruz.
First stop Gilroy in an ancient forest. The 42 ft mobile home is too big to fit in with the park riff-raff. So James bemoans the fact they have to park down the road, yet he talks his way into a space.
They try a garlic wine, the least said the better, have they lost their senses? Pure yuk!!
To take away the taste, they drink Paso Robles vino with Captain Crunch and piccoli ham?

Opps ~ James prangs the motor home at a gas station. Off to meet Paul Draper of Ridge wines. Zinfiandel wines and numerous other grapes blended together to give wonderful wines.
Another daft caper in dodgem cars with Oz trying to drink wine while being 'bumped'!!
They meet Randall Grahm of Bonny Doon winery. The originator of blended wines, based on grapes from all over California. Boony Doon, now that is a wine! Expensive in the UK.
A wines from the muscat grape. Usually from the mediterranean.
James drinks some muscat wine and takes off into a wild vision of what great wines can do to give you that eureka moment!
Next Two Buck Chuck, who sells wines at $2 a bottle. Fred Fraznia of the Bronco wines company that produces 200 million liters of wine a year!! Oz and James gve it a try, yes a reasonable wine for $2 does exist.
