In a new program of eight programs Raymond Blanc puts gives nine couples a thorough examination to see if they have what it takes to run their own restaurant. He is the two-Michelin star ~ Chef Patron of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Great Milton, Oxford.
Couples with a dream to run their own restaurant are tested in every department to se if they have what it takes, preparing and cooking food, stocking and running the restaurant and its staff. BBC site guide to The Restaurant.
Quite a tall order for the couples have little or no previous experience. Expect the wonderful temperament of Raymond Blanc to come shining through.
Each of the nine couples will be allowed to run a restaurant and one will be closed each week until we get to the final.
